Pastor L. Hudson III, M.Ed., M.Div., Ed.S., is the senior pastor of the historic First Baptist Church of Brownsville, TN, one of the oldest established and leading Black churches in the West Tennessee Memphis District Association. He has a life-long commitment to pastoral leadership spanning more than four decades. He holds three graduate degrees and has served professionally as a public and Christian educator on the secondary and post-secondary levels. Rev. Hudson served as Dean of the District Congress of Mississippi Valley District and a Tennessee certified Instructor in the Missionary Baptist State Convention. He has held the position of a College Instructor in Black Church History and World Religion. He is a strong advocate of community outreach and youth empowerment. He is also a generous contributor and supporter of the distinguished West Africa College for Christian Missions (WACCM). He has been married to Mrs. Norma L. Harrell-Hudson for thirty-six years and they have four children and six grandchildren.
